Grade 10 Placement (Senior School – CBC)

Admission into Grade 10 at Moi Forces Academy is conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

How Grade 10 Placement Is Done

  1. Learner Profiling (Grades 7–9):
    During Junior Secondary School, learners are continuously assessed based on academic performance, interests, talents, career guidance records, and teacher recommendations.
  2. Selection of Senior School Pathways:
    Learners choose their preferred pathways:
    • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
    • Social Sciences
    • Arts and Sports Science
  3. School Selection:
    Learners select senior schools through the official Ministry of Education placement system, guided by their pathway, performance, and school capacity.
  4. National Placement:
    The Ministry of Education carries out placement based on learner profiles, available school capacities, and equity considerations.
  5. Admission to Moi Forces Academy:
    Only learners officially placed by the Ministry of Education will be admitted into Grade 10 at Moi Forces Academy.

Successful candidates will receive official admission instructions, reporting dates, and required documentation directly from the school.
